Dental implants are surgical treatments to replace missing teeth by placing a titanium "root" into bone and then attaching a crown or other dental restorations to the implant.  

• Comprehensive exam is needed prior to dental implant therapy. This usually includes review of the patient's medical history, dental health status, and bone volume with 3D cone beam CT scan.
• Additional bone regeneration therapy may be needed. Once the dental implant is placed, 3-6 months of healing is needed before dental restoration is placed. 
• Dental implants will last a long time with proper hygiene practice and routine dental care.
